“It is not that any treatment should be avoided in the spring and summer months, but most people require minimal to no sun exposure while your skin heals. If you choose to get a treatment when you are in the sun more often, it is important to be diligent to limit your exposure to the most optimal results and safety of your new skin,” she explains.

Apart from living inside and investing in a broad -braking hat or a visor in full face, it is always key to protect your skin with sunscreen.

“Skip SPF in your morning skin care-routine is an absolutely no-no

Between treatments, it will also help extend your brilliant appearance.

“Your skincare should be applied routinely … double your skin at night, first with an oil -based detergent to remove makeup and dirt, followed by another round with a gentle detergent to actually cleanse your skin,” suggests Movsesian.

To take it up, Family Nurse Practitioner also recommends a retinol product.

“People have a general fear of retinol, but the key is to start with a gentle formula a few times a week and gradually build up for more frequent use, and eventually makes a stronger formula … Many people think retinol can thin out the skin, but it is not true. In fact, it does the opposite and actually helps produce collagen,” she is wasting.
