On September 9, Apple reveals its most expected product of the year at its “AWE drop” event. At. 10 PT we will all see as the keynote speaker officially introduces the iPhone 17 with new Apple Watches, maybe an AirPod’s Pro-Update and possibly the 2nd Gen-HomePod Mini.
While the rumors say Apple is reportedly ready to launch several other products by the end of 2025, we do not expect them to perform at this particular event. So if you are eagerly waiting for one of the devices below, you may have to wait a little longer.
A new ‘E’ iPhone
Despite the “AWE drop” event known as an iPhone event, each iPhone model is not updated. In particular, iPhone 17, 17 Air, 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max will replace iPhone 16, 16 Plus, 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max.
But if you’ve seen the budget iPhone 16E, it’s safe to buy one. 17E will only come at the beginning of next year. Rumors say the iPhone 17E will hold its spring games to give Apple a chance to divide iPhone launches into half -yearly messages – look for iPhone 18 to participate in it in 2027.
AirPods Max
In addition to the iPhone 17, Apple is joined to launch AirPods Pro 3 at its September event. Rumors say the company is reportedly planning to introduce new technology, such as a heart rate sensor, to these earplugs, but unfortunately the other advanced Airpods models will not catch up yet. Reports say the 5-year-old Airpods Max will go at least one year without an update.
A new AirPods Pro is probably, but don’t expect updates to AirPods Max.

iPad Pro
It’s been 15 months since the M4 iPad Pro arrived, so an M5 launch is apparently imminent. But don’t expect it at this event. While Apple has used the iPhone event to launch the iPad Mini before, Pro is unlikely to arrive. In fact, it is unlikely to get an event at all – Apple is likely to announce it via a separate press release later this year.
M5 Macs
Like the iPad Pro, the MacBook Pro and iMac are expected for their annual chip bump, just like the aging Mac Pro still has an M2 Ultra chip. While Apple is joking to update many of its Macs before the end of the year, the messages do not appear on the iPhone-centered main note. Instead, the company will either hold a dedicated Mac event in mid-October or have another multi-day web release as last year. Other models, including MacBook Air, are following next year.

New Macs are coming, but not at the September event.

Homepad Smart Home Hub
Apple’s so -called HomePad Smart Home Hub has already missed several rumored release dates, but we know one thing for sure: It will not appear on the “AWE dropping” event. According to credible leaks, the device will look like a HomePod with a square, iPad-like screen and run a dedicated operating system. Given its tongue dependence on Siri, Homepad has reportedly been pushed back until Apple renews his voice assistant next year. As such, HomePad is no longer expected to debut this fall.
Nevertheless, the iPhone manufacturer is still planning to introduce the HomePod Mini 2 and a new Apple TV 4K 4, which is likely to show up on the Apple Web site later in the year and boasts faster processors and connectivity. It wouldn’t quite surprise us if they appeared at the iPhone event, but we expect a separate message at a later date.
Vision Pro
Apple Vision Pro 2 will probably launch in the fall with an M5 chip and a comfier head strap. Given the exciting nature of the upgrade, Apple could choose a quiet web message at some point later in the year. Either way, we expect it to be gathered with them from the aforementioned MACs – especially as Apple markets the headset as a spatial computer. It doesn’t really fit the iPhone event theme.

IPhone will have the limelight on the ‘Awe Dropping’ event.

Made for iPhone
Apple’s “AWE DROPPING” event will focus on the iPhone 17 set -up and the Apple Watch family with a probable appearance of AirPods Pro. A logical guest space can be Airtag 2, perfectly adapted to the theme as one of the few iPhone accessories. And of course we get the official release date for iOS 26, probably Monday after the keynote speaker.
Although Apple still has more products to postpone this year, none of them will overshadow the iPhone event or steal the limelight from its most popular product. That said, there will still be plenty of time for Cringey sketches and Apple TV+ campaigns.
