Congratulations on new music Friday! The weekend is here, which means more streaming, new playlists and the best that music has to offer – and one you have covered everything in between.

Four legendary artists come together for a new tour, Queens! 4 legends. 1 step. Chaka Khan, Patti Labelle, Gladys Knight and Stephanie Mills unite for this unforgettable tour celebrating decades of timeless classics. The first part of the 11-city tour starts May 9 in Las Vegas and ends June 1 in Indianapolis. Another leg with nine additional performances begins September 19 in Greensboro and Wrap 5 October in Cleveland.

The Academy of Country Music Awards took place 8 May and opened with a 12 -minute starter kit celebrating the 60 -year anniversary. The Academy’s highest honor was awarded Lainy Wilson, who marked his second year in a row, earning the coveted title. The first time ACM -nominated led the night in total wins with five awards. Easy Day Foundation goes along with 2025 American Music Awards To honor us troops and veterans during Live Memorial Day broadcast from Las Vegas. There will be special moments in the show celebrating veterans while raising money for a number of national and local organizations.

Bet Awards Celebrates the 25th anniversary of Legendary Music Video Countdown Show 106 & Park with a special tribute. Former hosts AJ Calloway, Free, Julissa Bermudez, Keshia Chanté, Rocsi Diaz and Terrence J will reunite on stage for a nostalgic celebration of the show that shaped a generation. Tribute will include performances from Pervious Host and Mr. 106 & Park, Bow Wow, Amerie, B2K, Jim Jones, Mya, Ti and More. Glorilla, Mustard, Ameria, Anycia, Bossman Dlow, Crime Mobb, Kalan.FRFR, Keri Hilson, Larussell, Mario and Pretty Ricky appear on Bet Experience (Betx) Fanfest, which takes place June 7 and June 8 before the awards.

Nominations were also advertised for Bet Awards. Kendrick Lamar leads with 10 nominations, Doechii, Drake, Future and Glorilla Tie with 6 each, Metro Boomin has 5, SZA and The Weeknd Tie with 4 Each, Arya Starr, Chris Brown, Lil Wayne, Maverick City Music, Playboi Carti, Teddy Swims and Tyler, The Creator has 3 each. Culture’s biggest night Hosted by Kevin Hart will be released on June 9 at bet.

The Country Music Association announced the 2025 class of the CMA Foundation Music Teachers of Excellence and honors 30 extraordinary teachers nationwide who use the music in music to transform life. Each Honoree receives a price of $ 5,000, split evenly between personal use and their classroom or program. Honorees is also encouraged to participate in a year of professional development and commitment with CMAS wider networks, including special access to CMA Fest and CMA Awards. The class in 2025 is celebrated on a gala on red blanket on September 10 in Nashville.

Earlier this week, Hilary Duff, Jordana Brewster, Lauren London, Lori Harvey and more supported Baby2Baby’s Mother’s Day Celebration Presented by Crate & Kids. The event supported families affected by the devastating wildfires in Los Angeles. Baby2Baby ambassadors and supporters volunteered for their time to help distribute fundamentally essential to mothers and their children and also showered them with special gifts.
